How to Use Smokeless Firepit Attachments: Braai Grid & Potjie Setup

Step 1: Attach the Vertical Pole

Start by taking the vertical pole included with your firepit attachment kit. Insert the pole into the hole located on the rim of your Smokeless firepit. Ensure that the pole stands upright and is stable—there should be no wobbling. This pole will serve as the base for the braai grid and potjie attachments, so it's important that it’s secure and properly positioned.

Step 2: Secure the Braai Grid or Potjie

Once the vertical pole is in place, you can add either or both of the braai grid and potjie attachments (or add two braai attachments if you’re a serious braai enthusiast who needs different heat for different foods!). Slide them onto the pole, ensuring they are properly aligned. Tighten the securing screw on each attachment to hold them firmly in place.

Step 3: Test the Stability

To ensure that your braai grid or potjie setup is ready for use, give the attachment a gentle push downwards. It should be able to bear the weight of your potjie pot or braai food without shifting or tilting. Make sure the potjie is securely positioned and the braai grid is level to prevent any accidents while cooking.
